Custom Circuit Frames

BEST is the leader in circuit frames. We have a wide variety of options plus we can make custom frames to make your PCB repair go smoother, faster ad more cost-effectively. BEST produces BOTH the dry film and 2-part epoxy circuit frames. The first is a little "cleaner" during attachment while the latter has the greatest bonding force to the laminate. We have a variety of eight including both 1, 2 and 4 oz copper as well as both RoHS compatible, standard tin-lead and gold plated versions available.

Instead of overwhelming you with the hundreds of different patterns and having to pick through them (you can ask for the listing) you simply tell us the following:

1. Thickness/# of oz of copper

2. Plating required

3. What replacement patterns you need (or send us a DWG or GERBER file or a competitive circuit frame manufacturer's part number or link)

We'll take it from there in selecting your circuit frame, sending you back a check plot for approval.

There are no minimum buys. There are no tooling charges. We will ship your circuit frame within a few days.

Our circuit frames with the dry film have a 6 month minimum shelf life and are date-coded on the circuit frame. The circuit frames are tin plated with the dry film attached. The base metal is 1 oz copper with chemical etchant which results in a high bond strength to the PCB. The coating on the PCB side is an immersion bright tin coating. The backing film is a low stress epoxy film adhesive with a Tg at 60C. This minimizes the thermal stress on bonded parts during thermal cycling or shock testing from 55 to 150C. It is a clear 1mil (0.0254mm) in thickness material which helps to make for an aesthetically pleasing repair.

They were able to make me a frame for the two most common pads I use. Very convenient and the fircuit frames do not go out of date.

    Got it Done

Posted by Billy T on 2nd Oct 2017

There were a few iterations on the design but once done I got the frame that we needed for our everyday repairs. This saves us time in cutting and we will not waste too much material due to expiration.
